IHG recently signed a management agreement with Shanghai 21st centuryhotels to take over one of its landmark hotels in Shanghai's lujiazui districtand rename it as  Regent Shanghai Pudong.The hotel, formerly the four seasons hotel in pudong, Shanghai, will reopen ina new capacity on May 16.
"Welcoming the Regent pudong Shanghai to the Regent family is animportant milestone for the Regent brand not only in the greater China region,but globally," Justin Channe, IHG managing director, said in a statement.

Fast Retailing, the parent company of Japanese fast fashion giant UNIQLO,released its latest financial report on 9 April, with sales down 4.7% to 1.21trillion yen in the first half of fiscal year 2020 as of 29 February andoperating profit down 20.9% to 136.7 billion yen.
 
After the Japanese government issued an emergency statement, the UNIQLO ofFast Retailing Group shut down about 170 stores in Japan. Fortunately, most ofthe previously closed stores in mainland of China have now reopened.

近日,美国私募基金 Blackstone(黑石集团)近日斥资1.2亿英镑收购了英国房地产基金管理公司 Clearbell Capital旗下物流和工业投资组合 Cara。据悉,这部分投资组合遍布英国的22处中小型工业和物流资产,总面积约18.6万㎡,主要包括郊区和位于物流“最后一英里”位置的一些仓库、物流中心。
 
目前,黑石集团通过旗下泛欧洲物流房地产公司Mileway,在整个欧洲积累了约1300处物流资产,去年9月估值约80亿欧元。

US private equity fund Blackstone recently bought Cara, a logistics andindustrial portfolio of UK real estate fund manager Clearbell Capital, for£120m. It is reported that this part of the portfolio is spread across the UK's22 small and medium-sized industrial and logistics assets, with a total area ofabout 186,000 square meters, mainly including the suburbs and some warehousesand logistics centers located in the logistics "last mile" location.
 
Blackstone has amassed some 1,300 logistics assets across Europe throughits pan-european logistics property company Mileway, valued at about €8bn in lastSeptember.
 
06|L Catterton 亚洲基金收购日本天然美妆生产商 ETVOS 过半股权
 
4月2日,LVMH 旗下亚洲私募基金 LCatterton Asia 宣布,收购日本矿物美妆品牌 ETVOS 及其同名母公司。这是 L Catterton Asia 在日本的第二笔投资,也是首次投资日本美妆品牌。据悉,LCatterton Asia 收购了 ETVOS 半数以上的股权,未来将继续加强公司的经营体系,但双方并未披露具体的出资金额和持股比例。

On April 2, L Catterton Asia, LVMH's Asian private equity fund, announcedthe acquisition of ETVOS, a Japanese mineral beauty brand, and its eponymousparent company. This is L Catterton Asia's second investment in Japan and thefirst for a Japanese beauty brand. Catterton Asia is understood to haveacquired more than half equity of ETVOS and will continue to strengthen thecompany's operating system in the future, but the parties did not disclose theamount of money or shareholding.

克莱尔•威特•凯勒(Clare Waight Keller)在执掌纪梵希品牌三年后辞去了该品牌的创意总监一职。她为maison举办的最后一次演出是3月1日的巴黎时装周上。克莱尔•威特•凯勒在纪梵希任职之前曾在Chloé担任了六年的创意总监。在此之前,她曾在汤姆福特(Tom Ford)手下的Gucci担任高级女装设计师。

Clare Waight Keller has stepped down as Givenchy creative director afterthree years at the brand’s helm. Her last show for the maison took place on1st March during Paris Fashion Week. Before her tenure at Givenchy, WaightKeller spent six years as creative director at Chloé. Prior tothat, she worked as senior women’s designer at Gucciunder Tom Ford.
 
02|戴比尔斯集团首席财务官离职
 
钻石公司戴比尔斯集团宣布,首席财务官尼美舒帕特尔(Nimesh Patel)将于7月底前离职,加盟斯皮拉克斯•沙科工程公司(Spirax Sarco Engineering plc),担任新的首席财务官和执行董事。尼美舒将于7月26日离开戴比尔斯集团。有关继任者消息将在适当时候公布。

De Beers Group, a diamond company, announced that Nimesh Patel, ChiefFinancial Officer, will leave the business to join Spirax-Sarco Engineering plcas their new Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director before the end ofJuly. Nimesh will leave De Beers Group on 26th July. An announcement regardinghis successor will be made in due course.

03|ASOS appoints new chief strategy officer
 
 
ASOS, one of the world’ s leading online fashion retailers, named PatrikSilén as Chief Strategy Officer, reporting to Chief Executive Officer, NickBeighton. During his 16-year tenure there, Patrik relaunched and built severalnew practice areas, including the consultancy’ s EMEA Retail Operations unit,and focused on delivering insight, strategy and transformation programmes to arange of clients, including online pure-plays and omnichannel retailers. In hisrole at ASOS, which he starts on 5th May, Patrik will further development andimplementation of the company’ s strategy with a focus on driving performancegrowth. ASOS is currently recruiting the final new role, that of ChiefCommercial Officer. An announcement is expected in due course.
 
04|亚太旅游零售协会任命新会长
 
亚太旅游零售协会(APTRA)主席、亚洲战略发展主管格兰特•弗莱明(Grant Fleming)从APTRA主席职位上卸任,他准备在2020年4月底离开拉加德,并开始在旅游零售以外的全球业务中另谋新的职位。APTRA董事会投票选举Sunil Tuli为APTRA的新总裁。

Grant Fleming, President of APTRA (Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association)and Head of Strategic Development – Asia, Lagardère Travel Retail is steppingdown from his presidency of APTRA as he prepares to leave Lagardère at the endof April 2020 for a new role with a global business outside Travel Retail. The APTRAboard has voted Sunil Tuli as the new President of APTRA.
